CAMPING IN THE WILDERNESS OVERVIEW
What better way to celebrate summer than heading out and camping in the wilderness? When going camping it is important to have food, water, shelter and be ready to walk long distances. Thousands of years ago Moses freed the Israelites from Egyptian slavery; when they were freed they left the “comforts” of their “homes” and headed into the wilderness. Out there they had to survive in a hostile environment; the desert. This series explores the journey of Moses and the Israelites, helping preteens discover the "awesomeness" of God in their everyday lives.
Week 1: Manna from God
Bible Passages: Exodus 16:1-4

Week 2: Water - Water From the Rock
